It shouldn’t come as a huge surprise that we won’t be able to continue posting episodes of FiW on YouTube. After looking into various video sites and what they’ll allow, it’s come down to Blip.tv as basically our only option.
We submitted an application a few days ago, and received the following in response:
Thank you for submitting Friendship is Witchcraft to Blip. We have reviewed Friendship is Witchcraft and have determined that we cannot approve it for the following reason(s):
- Not a web series
We don’t think that’s true, so we’re going to apply again. We don’t want to end up with Episode 8 finished and nowhere to post it.
But here’s how people can help us: Blip has a general request form on their site, and you guys can request Friendship is Witchcraft.
It should only take a sentence, like “Get Friendship is Witchcraft on your site,” if you can’t think of anything else to say. For url, you can link to the Blip homepage, and for username put SherclopPones.
You don’t need a Blip account to do this. Blip is interested in viewers, and if enough people want us on their site, they’ll make it happen. In the meantime, we’re in limbo!
Totes done.
